THEY Series Tips

THEY Series Tips

THEY Kids is a series all about helping children choose good friends. But how do you know what kind of friends you should have? Through this series children will learn that the right THEY should be Tough and Trustworthy, Honest and Heaven-Bound, Encouraging, and Yielded to God!

In THEY Kids, children ages 6-12 will experience a combination of two of our favorite Elevate series, Berry Blast Theme Park Kids and Entourage Kids in order to learn the importance of choosing the right friends. Children will experience "Movie Land", four lessons from our Entourage series, now one of the main attractions at Berry Blast Theme Park! Your children will join the Director for a Behind the Scenes look at being a good friend and choosing good friends.

In the Entourage Skit, join Julie Simpson and the cast and crew of Treasure Hunters 7 to learn how to be the right kind of friend. Tom and Skip are actors on the set of the brand new movie, Treasure Hunters 7, but they aren’t exactly the best of friends. During this four week mini-series, children will learn what it takes to be a good friend alongside Tom and Skip. The children will learn A Good Friend Is Tough And Trustworthy, A Good Friend Is Honest And Heaven Bound, A Good Friend Is Encouraging, and A Good Friend Is Yielded To God. So roll out the red carpet in “Movie Land” and get ready to learn lessons on friendship from the life of Barnabas, Aaron and Hur, Jethro, and the ultimate example of a good friend, Jesus!

The skit style of Entourage is similar to other Elevate series where Julie Simpson is the teacher while Tom and Skip learn from her and the Bible Lesson. The series format and style is similar to Winter Extreme Kids and The Great Sky Bridge Showdown Kids in that the Skit and Bible Lesson are separate videos. The Bible Lesson is told by Fellowship Church’s Children’s Pastor Mike Johnson and includes an animated Bible Lesson.

What’s different?

  • THEY came from the idea of an extended attraction in Berry Blast Theme Park
  • THEY is a 4-week mini series, instead of the traditional 8 weeks
  • THEY uses of the set and songs from Berry Blast Theme Park (A tip for decorating your theme park set for “Movie Land” is to add movie “props”. These can include a rack of costumes, giant megaphones, and other fun “behind the scenes” items).
  • THEY uses the Skits and Bible Lessons from Entourage
  • THEY is offered exclusively in digital downloadable format
  • THEY includes brand-new Main Point and Bible Verse posters so they follow the theme of this new series

Note: There is no THEY Jr. series.

We look forward to seeing any stage pictures or series pictures from your children's ministry! Feel free to post them on our Facebook wall so others can see how you use THEY! Or, check out our Elevate Set Design Pinterest board
