Lesson 2
Lesson Goal: The children will learn that they should encourage others.
Bible Story: Paul encourages the people on a boat during a storm. (Acts 27)
Main Point: I Will Encourage Others!
Bible Verse: “So encourage each other and build each other up…” (1 Thessalonians 5:11a NLT)
Lesson 3
Lesson Goal: The children will learn that, while they can’t always control what happens to them, they can control what kind of attitude they have. They should always choose to have a good attitude.
Bible Story: Paul and Silas in prison (Acts 16:16-25)
Main Point: I Will Have A Good Attitude No Matter What!
Bible Verse: “Dear brothers and sisters, when trouble comes your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.” (James 1:2 NLT)
Lesson 4
Lesson Goal: We should put others’ needs above our own.
Bible Story: Paul and Silas minister to the jailer. (Acts 16)
Main Point: I Will Put Others First!
Bible Verse: “If you think you are too important to help someone else, you are only fooling yourself; you are not that important.” (Galatians 6:3 NLT)
Lesson 5
Lesson Goal: We should give God the credit for the good things we do.
Bible Story: Paul and Barnabas give God the credit. (Acts 14:8-18)
Main Point: I Will Give God the Credit for the Good Things I Do!
Bible Verse: “What do you have that God hasn’t given you? And if everything you have is from God, why boast as though it were not a gift?” (1 Corinthians 4:7b NLT)
Lesson 6
Lesson Goal: Learn how to recognize and choose good friends.
Bible Story: Paul’s friendships (Acts 9; 16 & 18)
Main Point: I Will Choose Good Friends!
Bible Verse: “There are ‘friends’ who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.” (Proverbs 18:24 NLT)
Lesson 7
Lesson Goal: We should not be ashamed to tell people that we are a Christ follower.
Bible Story: Paul was not ashamed to tell others about Christ. (Acts)
Main Point: I Should Be Proud To Be On God’s Team!
Bible Verse: “For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes…” (Romans 1:16a NLT)
Lesson 8
Lesson Goal: We should share the Good News of Jesus with others.
Bible Story: Review of Paul’s life and mission (1 Corinthians 9)
Main Point: I Will Tell The Good News of Jesus!
Bible Verse: “Work at telling others the good news, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.” (2 Timothy 4:5c NLT)
