01 May Berry Blast Theme Park Series Tips
Berry Blast Theme Park Kids is a colorful and engaging amusement park where children will learn about the Fruit Of The Spirit through the life of David and the Salvation Story.
In Berry Blast Theme Park Kids, children ages 6-12 will meet two of the park’s employees, Bernie and Twitch. Bernie has been working at Berry Blast Theme Park for many years and has been selected to train Twitch, the newest employee at the park. In order to be the best Berry Blast has to offer, Twitch has to master joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, and love. As Twitch trains to become an excellent employee, the children will learn lessons about how to live out the Fruit of the Spirit in their own lives. So grab your tickets and get in line as Bernie helps Twitch face life's difficulties using the ultimate fruit, the Fruit of the Spirit. This series will show the children in your ministry how God uses the Fruit of the Spirit to teach us many life lessons about how to live life His way! Throughout this eight week series, children in your ministry will learn:
- Goodness: I Will Please God In What I Think, Say and Do!
- Faithfulness: I Will Do What I Say I Will Do!
- Self-control: I Will Think Of What God Wants Me To Do Before I Act!
- Patience: I Will Wait Without Complaint!
- Joy: I Will Be Joyful Because God Loves Me!
- Kindness and Gentleness: I Will Treat Others The Way God Would Want Me to Treat Them!
- Peace: I Trust God in Difficult Times!
- Love: We Show Love By Our Actions!
The skit style of this series is similar to other Elevate series and uses the typical Teacher/Co-Teacher style where Bernie teaches and trains Twitch. The series format and style is similar to Heroes Of Mega City and Adventures In Science in that the Bible Lesson is embedded within the skit so Twitch also learns one of the Fruits of the Spirit. Each week, Twitch will take a ride on the Training Roller Coaster to learn the Bible Lesson. Pastor Mike Johnson teaches the Bible Lesson with the help of animation. Each Bible video teaches a different lesson on the life of David and culminates with the Salvation Story on week eight. To perform this series live, your team can perform segments with Bernie and Twitch while still utilizing the Bible Lesson Video segment. In this series, the Bible Lesson segment is not available to perform live. Current Elevate users will recognize that the theme for Berry Blast Theme Park Kids is similar to Under The Big Top Kids and Upsidedown Town Kids.
What’s the same and what’s different? Berry Blast Theme Park Kids is similar to Treasure Quest Kids in that there is an animated Berry Blast Carnival Race for the children to watch and cheer for during each lesson’s Large Group time. Unlike other series, Berry Blast Theme Park Kids includes three Children’s Worship songs instead of two.
Berry Blast Theme Park is also available in Digital Base Pack form. The Digital series is beneficial when you are already using multimedia software like MediaShout® or ProPresenter® to build your elementary children’s worship hour.
