Lesson 1
Lesson Goal: Children will learn that God has a plan for their lives and He will give them the help they need to accomplish that plan. Therefore, we should trust God and obey Him.
Bible Story: The calling of Moses (Exodus 3-4)
Main Point: I Obey God Because I Trust Him!

Lesson 2
Lesson Goal: Children will learn that the way we show love to God is by being obedient to Him and to other figures of authority. Therefore, we should be obedient every day.
Bible Story: The Ten Plagues (Exodus 5-11)
Main Point: I Obey God Because I Love Him!

Lesson 3
Lesson Goal: The children will understand that when problems arise we should focus on God rather than our problems because He is trustworthy, powerful and He loves us.
Bible Story: The Parting of the Red Sea. Exodus 13:17-14:31 (NLT)
Main Point: When I Have A Problem, I Will Focus On God!
Bible Verse: “I prayed to the Lord, and He answered me. He freed me from all of my fears.” Psalms 34:4 (NLT)
Lesson 4
Lesson Goal: The children will learn that when they have a need, they shouldn’t worry or complain. Instead, they should thank God for what He’s already done for them and then ask Him to meet their need.
Bible Story: God Provides for the Israelites Exodus 15:22-17:7 (NLT)
Main Point: Thank You God for Meeting My Needs!
Bible Verse: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.” Philippians 4:6 (NLT)
Lesson 5
Lesson Goal: The children will learn through the story of the Ten Commandments that we are to love God and love others as ourselves.
Bible Story: God gives Moses the Ten Commandments Exodus 19:1-20:21 (NLT)
Main Point: Love God, Love Others!
Bible Verse: “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37b-39 (NLT)
Lesson 6
Lesson Goal: The children will learn that, in order for their church to be the best it can be, they need to participate.
Bible Story: God uses people to build the tabernacle Exodus 25-26; 31:1-11; 35:30-35 (NLT)
Main Point: Church is Better with You!
Bible Verse: “God has given gifts to each of you from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Manage them well so that God’s generosity can flow through you.” 1 Peter 4:10 (NLT)
Lesson 7
Lesson Goal: The children will learn that God promises them eternal life and it is their choice whether or not to accept it and believe it.
Bible Story: The twelve spies and the Israelites’ rebellion Numbers 13-14:25 (NLT)
Main Point: I Can Choose to Believe God’s Promises!
Bible Verse: “For God loved the world so much that He gave his one and only son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (NLT)
Lesson 8
Lesson Goal: The children will learn that in order to experience God’s best for their lives they need to obey Him.
Bible Story: The Fall of Jericho (Joshua 6)
Main Point: God has great plans for me when I obey Him!
