Lesson 3

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that we should spend time preparing ourselves for the different things God wants us to do.
Bible Story: David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17)
Main Point: I Will Be Ready To Do What God Wants!
Bible Verse: All scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16 – 17 (NLT)

Lesson 4

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that we should help other people by encouraging them to do what is right.
Bible Story: Elijah vs Prophets of Baal (1 Kings 17-18)
Main Point: I Will Tell Others To Do What Is Right!

Lesson 5

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that when faced with pressure from others to do what is wrong, we should choose to do what is right.
Bible Story: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and the Fiery Furnace (Daniel 3)
Main Point: I Will Not Let Others Make Me Do What Is Wrong!

Lesson 6

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that when we face problems, rather than panicking or complaining, we should focus on Jesus, who is powerful enough to help us.
Bible Story: Jesus Feeds 5000 and Walks On the Water (Matthew 14:13-33)
Main Point: When I Have A Problem, I Will Focus On Jesus!
Bible Verse: Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. John 14:1 (NLT)

Lesson 7

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that we can believe that Jesus is alive because of all the people in the Bible who witnessed and told others about what they saw.
Bible Story: Crucifixion and Resurrection (Crucifixion Luke 23:32-56, Matthew 27:45-46) (Resurrection: Matthew 28:1-8, John 20:24-29)
Main Point: I Believe That Jesus Is Alive!
Bible Verse: If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 (NLT)

Lesson 8

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that we should spend time praising God no matter if our circumstances are good or bad.
Bible Story: Paul and Silas in Prison (Acts 16:16-40)
Main Point: I Will Praise God In All Situations!
