03 Nov Heroes Of Mega City Series Tips
Heroes Of Mega City Kids is home to some of the greatest superheroes in the Bible. In this series, children will learn character qualities of a superhero that they can apply to their own lives.
In Heroes Of Mega City Kids, children will experience a world of heroes, similar to the world of Marvel®. Heroes Of Mega City Kids follows Pow and Kabaam as they learn how to become Superheroes.
In Heroes Of Mega City Kids, children ages 6-12 will join Pow and Kabaam, heroes in training! As Pow and Kabaam train to become a superhero, they’ll be learning lessons about the character qualities necessary to become a superhero. So grab your mask and cape and step into our secret lair as we fight injustice with inspiration from heroes of the Bible!
Throughout this eight week series, children in your ministry will get to watch Pow and Kabaam as they learn Heroes Never Give Up Doing Good, Heroes Tell The Truth, Heroes Are Generous, Heroes Do What They Say They Will Do, Heroes Stand Up For What Is Right, Heroes Forgive, Heroes Are Humble, and Heroes Are Loyal! This series will show the children in your ministry how God uses the heroes of the Bible to teach us many life lessons about how to live life His way!
The skit style of this series is different from other Elevate series in that Pow and Kabaam learn alongside each other; the series skit itself does not have a Teacher/Co-Teacher style. The series format and style is similar to Berry Blast Theme Park Kids and Ten Hut Kids in that the Bible Lesson is embedded within the skit as a part of teaching Pow and Kabaam the right thing to do. The Bible Lesson is animated and in comic book style. The Bible Lesson is narrated by the superhero of the week and includes multiple lessons about different heroes from the Bible. To perform this series live, your team can act out the segments with Pow and Kabaam while still utilizing the animated Bible video segment. Current Elevate users will recognize that the theme for Heroes Of Mega City Kids is similar to Super Sports Spectacular Kids.
What’s the same and what’s different? Heroes Of Mega City Kids is similar to Adventures In Science Kids in that there is an animated themed-game to use during Large Group included in each lesson. Unlike other series, the race, “Superhero Challenge” in Heroes Of Mega City Kids involves four different superheroes who partake in different challenges to prove their abilities.
Heroes Of Mega City is coming soon in Digital Base Pack form. The digital series is beneficial when you are already using multimedia software like MediaShout® or ProPresenter® to build your elementary children’s worship hour.
